Legacy Giving
Gifts and bequests over the past four decades have enabled The Stained Glass Museum to develop a significant collection of stained glass from the medieval period to the present day, unrivalled in the UK. Leaving a bequest can ensure your appreciation of stained glass is passed on to future generations through preservation of the collection, enhanced display and interpretation, and our educational outreach. If you are interested in becoming a benefactor, please read our Legacy Giving leaflet or contact the Curator on 01353 660347.
Collections Fund
The Stained Glass Museum Collections Fund is a new fund established in 2024 to care for, maintain and develop the museum’s collections.
Every gift to the endowment makes a direct contribution to our specialist stained glass collections, helping to grow, care for and interpret these objects for audiences now and in the future.
The Collections Fund is the only fund allocated to the museum’s collection and is essential for its future development and preservation. With the support of our friends and benefactors, we aim to grow the endowment in line with our ambitions, helping to shape the future of this organisation and preserve its internationally-significant collections. Our initial target is to reach £500,000 (in gifts and pledges) in the first 3-5 years, by 2029.
