Join local artist, Jane Fellows as she takes you on a brief tour of our museum gallery, encouraging you to notice the various shapes, patterns and use of feathers in our collection of stained glass, old and new. Using this as a starting point you will learn how to create stunning gel plates in various colours, adding feathers and rock salt to reproduce their delicate forms and textures. Printing on to tissue paper to achieve a transparent effect, you’ll have an opportunity to make your final designs into vibrant greetings cards and prints to take home.details...
