RIGGER
Brief description: A wooden handled 'rigger'
A wooden handled brush with clear plastic ferrule. The bristles are soft. A rigger is used for producing lines, lettering and hatching in glass painting. The long hairs which you can see on the brush create a smooth, fluent line and prevent any unwanted build up of paint on the glass. It takes a great deal of skill to paint with this type of brush as lines have to be painted in one continuous sweep.
