TWO PROPHETS

Brief description: A painting of two medieval stained glass tracery lights by Nevil Truman. Truman copied the two prophets in 1933 from a stained glass window in St Giles' Church, Holme-by-Newark, dated c. 1490.

A painting of two stained glass lights depicting two prophets. The prophet on the left is on a red background. He has a white beard; his robes have flower shaped decorations. The prophet wears an ermine hat and collar. The right prophet is on a blue background. He has a white beard and ermine trimmed hat and collar. His robes are white with yellow quatrefoil decorations. He seems to be carrying a bag.
