The Stained Glass Museum is an independent museum dedicated to the art of stained glass and its collection of stained glass windows, associated designs, cartoons and tools which tell the story of the development of this unique art form from the 13th century to the present day. The museum is fully accredited with the Arts Council and offers a range of learning workshops and resources.

We would like to invite applications for a dynamic, pro-active, and enthusiastic part-time Learning Officer to run the museum’s schools and formal learning programme for young people. With an understanding of National Curriculum requirements, the successful candidate will be an experienced educator and excellent communicator with an interest in our unique collection and knowledge of the arts and heritage sector.

We will look to you to help us shape the future of learning and engagement by developing and delivering an exciting and wide-ranging education programme. You will be self-motivated with the ability to work upon your own initiative as well as part of a team. With a talent for working with volunteers you will lead on enhancing and supporting the education service and continue to build and maintain good relationships within local networks.
