Trustees of The Stained Glass Museum would like to invite applications for an experienced, pro-active, highly skilled and enthusiastic part-time Learning & Community Engagement Officer.

The appointed candidate is the sole post holder responsible for designing, marketing and delivering the museum’s formal and informal learning programme. They will need to develop and adapt resources and session plans to help The Stained Glass Museum reach wider audiences and adapt to challenges presented by covid-19.

This challenging role will require a motivated strategic and creative thinker with outstanding communication skills, energy and the ability to inspire and engage others. Applicants should be organised with good administration and prioritisation skills, and experienced in successfully developing and delivering Learning programmes in a museum, heritage, gallery, interpretation or other similar environment. Trustees of The Stained Glass Museum would like to invite applications for an Evaluation Consultant to evaluate the outreach project 'A Window into Coventry', funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund through its small project grants scheme.

‘A Window into Coventry’ will be delivered in partnership with local Coventry community group Foleshill Creates and a local stained glass artist in March 2022 (see key dates below). The project will take place during Coventry’s year of City of Culture and provide an opportunity for The Stained Glass Museum to work with a more diverse community group, to highlight the significance of the city’s stained glass heritage, both medieval and modern, to encourage creativity deepen the local community’s connections to this art form and local heritage.
