Free Activities for Children:
The museum has a selection of Discovery bags as well as a family-friendly children's area with an interactive lightbox. Free museum trails are also available for different ages.

Family Trails
We will be running interactive family trails throughout the Autumn and Winter, that on certain days will include the option to do a craft too. We are also running a children's tour.
No need to book, usual adult entrance fees apply (children go free) and donations encouraged towards craft materials.

SG Mini Mornings
Storytelling and Craft Sessions aimed at Under 5s. SG Mini's is going to be running through Autumn and Winter term. A chance to start your mornings off with a story and some nice craft activities related to the story.

Children's Glass Fusing: Level 1
Suitable for beginners, or those who would like a little more practice, this workshop focuses on learning how to cut glass to create your own kiln-fired artwork.

Safeguarding: Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times when attending our workshops. Safeguarding Policy
Access: All of our workshops take place in the museum which is accessed via a stone spiral staircase of approximately 40 steps. Buggy park and toilet facilities available on the ground floor of the Cathedral.
