Brief description: Two three light windows depicting Angel Musicians, St Luke, St Matthew and Fidelitas designed by Edward Burne-Jones and made by Morris and Company 1910-1912. The windows are in an Italianate style.

Edward Burne-Jones was the most influential stained-glass designer of the late 19th century and had a lifelong association and friendship with William Morris. These angels are in the Italianate style of Burne-Jones's work during the 1870s. The designs were first used for a window in Christ Church Cathedral in Oxford in 1875. During the 1880s his style underwent a significant change. Later windows, such as those in Birmingham Cathedral, show the profound impact of Byzantine mosaics, both in the hieratic, elongated figure-drawing and in the technique that uses small pieces of glass and dense, assertive leading.
