Photograph of a window depicting the heraldic arms of Thomas Wentworth, Earl of Stafford and an alumnus of St John's College, Cambridge. Wentworth (1593-1641), was a valued adviser to King Charles I, serving on the privy council and as Lord Deputy of Ireland from 1632-1640. The English Civil War broke out the next year. Reverse of photo states it is 'Dykes Bower specimen of restored window at St Johns College Cambridge Dining Hall.
