Brief description: Black and white mounted photograph of a stained glass window depicting the Benedicite
The photograph is of a 2 light window depicting a Children's Benedicite Window. Also in the window are seasonal scenes depicting spring with lambs, summer with animals and horse riding, fruit being collected in the autumn, and skiing and a Christmas tree for winter. The window is WW2 memorial window. An inscription dedicates the window to a local man. The window was designed by Christopher Webb (1886–1966), an English stained glass designer based in St Albans, Hertfordshire. He studied at the Slade School of Art and was then articled to Sir Ninian Comper. During his active career from 1920 to 1964 he produced over 400 windows with a distinctive character and style.
