Brief description: Design for a 4 light stained glass window depicting the nativity with the Magi
Proposed design for a 4 light Ralston Patrick Memorial Window depicting the nativity. In the two left hand lights, the magi are depicted, with Mary and child in the centre right light, and Joseph in the furthest right. The window has a clear diamond quarry background with a scene of Jesus riding into Jerusalem at the bottom and angels in the apex and tracery. Design was approved on 25 May 1933. This design was created by Christopher Webb (1886–1966), an English stained glass designer based in St Albans, Hertfordshire. He studied at the Slade School of Art and was then articled to Sir Ninian Comper. During his active career from 1920 to 1964 he produced over 400 windows with a distinctive character and style.
