Brief description: Design for a 3 light stained glass window depicting Christ in glory with St Peter and St Francis
Proposed design for the window in the north aisle depicting Christ in glory in the centre light with angels and an inscription beneath him. In the left light, St Peter holding keys and in the right light, St Francis with a hare and birds are shown. The window has a plain quarry background with heraldic shields above. In pencil on the reverse is '39.A. St Peter St. Tiverton, Devon. This design was created by Christopher Webb (1886–1966), an English stained glass designer based in St Albans, Hertfordshire. He studied at the Slade School of Art and was then articled to Sir Ninian Comper. During his active career from 1920 to 1964 he produced over 400 windows with a distinctive character and style.
