Brief description: Design for a 4 light stained glass window depicting the resurrection
Proposed design for the window on the south side depicting the Resurrection in the centre lights and St Michael in the left hand light with and angel below. St George is shown in the right hand light with an angel below. The tracery is filled with heraldry and symbols. The window has a quarry background. On the reverse is a handwritten note reading 'faculty recommended 11 May 1948'. This design was created by Christopher Webb (1886–1966), an English stained glass designer based in St Albans, Hertfordshire. He studied at the Slade School of Art and was then articled to Sir Ninian Comper. During his active career from 1920 to 1964 he produced over 400 windows with a distinctive character and style.
