Brief description: Design for a single light stained glass window depicting Christ in Glory
Proposed design for the East window. Window is shown as 1 light in 3 sections with tracery. In the centre of the design is Christ in Glory, he is surrounded by saints in the outer panels and angels above and below. The window has a quarry background. A note on the reverse reads 'the last window. Painted by Rymon. Completed January 1967. This design was created by Christopher Webb (1886–1966), an English stained glass designer based in St Albans, Hertfordshire. He studied at the Slade School of Art and was then articled to Sir Ninian Comper. During his active career from 1920 to 1964 he produced over 400 windows with a distinctive character and style.
