Brief description: Design for a 2 light stained glass window depicting the transfiguration
Proposed design for a window in the south side, depicting the transfiguration in a central design across the two lights. The scene is houses within a wreath of angels with a banner above and space for an inscription below. The window has a quarry background. Design has a 'recommended for faculty' stamp on the reverse from the Norfolk DAC. This design was created by Christopher Webb (1886–1966), an English stained glass designer based in St Albans, Hertfordshire. He studied at the Slade School of Art and was then articled to Sir Ninian Comper. During his active career from 1920 to 1964 he produced over 400 windows with a distinctive character and style.
