Brief description: A China Wedgwood dish produced for James Powell and Sons / Whitefriars Glass Works. The studio used china during the depression to keep their painters in work and practice.

A China Wedgwood dish produced for James Powell and Sons / Whitefriars Glass Works. The dish has been painted with an oak leaf and acorn design around the edge. It has pink bows at the top and two sides. The rim is painted gold. It is John Wilson's belief that these dishes were painted for sale at the Powell London Showroom.
