NOLI ME TANGERE
Brief description: Within a cusped quatrefoil frame against foliage ground, Mary Magdalene kneels in profile facing left, a pot of ointment at her feet. Christ left with staff and banner on left arm, raises his right arm above Mary's head, wounds visible. A Noli me Tangere (Do not touch me) panel from a window depicting seven scenes of Christ's passion, The Agony in the Garden, the Betrayal, Scourging, the road to Calvary, Crucifixion, Resurrection and noli me tangere. Designed by John Hardman Powell, made by John Hardman and Co., in 1852.
