ANGEL
Brief description: One of four angel octofoils from rose window designed by John Hungerford Pollen and made by James Powell and Sons, Whitefriars in 1863. Shows winged angel, haloed, as young girl in modern looking dress emerging from clouds, hands in prayer. This angel facing right. Cream robes, orange halo, red and cream wings. Simple background, foils with plain green glass and thin borders. Face and garments show Pre-Raphaelite influence.
