STAINED GLASS LIGHT OR LANCET DEPICTING JESUS CHRIST WITH A CROOK AND HOLDING A SHEEP

Brief description: Stained glass light or lancet depicting Jesus Christ with a crook and holding a sheep. Made in 1890 by Heaton, Butler and Bayne.

A stained glass light, the central figure is Jesus Christ facing front, nimbed, wearing a red robe, cream cloak, sandals and holding a crook in his right hand. On his left shoulder he holds a lamb. At his feet a sheep stands either side of him. There is an inscribed scroll at the top of the light. At the top left is a lion in a rocky landscape with foliage and bushes. Jesus is standing on a rock.
