A bronze medal given to Thomas Cowell for participating in the Apprentice's 1887 Exhibition in London. On the front of the medal designed by J A Restall are three children, one spinning a wheel, the other holding a shield and one holding a trophy and a model building under his arm. In front of them is a statue of a woman in Greek costume. Behind her is an oil lamp and a shield. In the background is a palace. The presentation box has red material inside.
