Workshops with Ely Cathedral

The Stained Glass Museum is in Ely Cathedral. The wonderful architecture and atmosphere of the Cathedral provide a superb setting for a visit, and many workshops at the Stained Glass Museum can be followed or combined with one at the Cathedral. Great for RE.

Kaleidoscope

Exciting art/craft workshops. Create artwork inspired by the brilliant colours and effects of light in the stained glass panels: rainbow lanterns, glass-painting, kaleidoscopes & more! Explore colour and shape in Ely Cathedral.

Magnificent Monasteries

Learn about the life and craftsmanship of medieval monks. Dress up in a monk’s habit, eat potage for lunch, illuminate a manuscript letter and paint a stained glass panel to take home.
